Our Community Follows Zayed’s Path
A national annual festival, now in its sixth edition, will be launched this year on November 15 and will run until November 17, 2025, for a duration of three days. It is a national occasion held in celebration of the International Day for Tolerance, aimed at promoting the values of tolerance, coexistence, and human fraternity, while encouraging integration and joint action to enhance the cultural movement in the UAE. The festival reinforces national identity and our pride in Zayed’s legacy.
The National Tolerance Festival is organized in collaboration with numerous federal, local, and private entities, with active participation from the executive councils of all emirates, and includes a variety of community, artistic, and educational activities. These aim to raise awareness about the importance of tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and acceptance of others.
This year’s edition of National Tolerance Festival, taking place in November, embodies the announcement made by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE—may God protect him—designating 2025 as the "Year of Community". The festival will open its doors to all entities to offer activities and programs targeted at all segments of society, taking place across multiple locations throughout the UAE, with a special focus on Abu Dhabi. It will also feature community, artistic, and humanitarian initiatives that reflect the UAE’s noble values and promote peaceful coexistence and human fraternity.
In line with the Year of Community, this edition of the festival will welcome participation from all groups of society under the slogan "Our Community Follows Zayed’s Path". This slogan reflects the festival’s message of honoring the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan—may God have mercy on him—in establishing the foundations of a tolerant and cohesive society, inclusive of all nationalities living in the UAE.
The National Tolerance Festival aims to achieve several key objectives, summarized as follows:
